Abortion, the Law, and the Church
What Should We Do about Abortion?
My text today is Luke 10:25-37, which contains what is known as the Parable of the Good Samaritan. The topic of my sermon today is, What is the church's responsibility with regard to abortion? What are our duties to the unborn, if any? I remember a time when the vast majority of Christians saw the killing of an unborn child as being a woman's private business. I remember a time when most Christians did not think they had any duty to their unborn neighbors. I see a time now in which many Christians have made an idol out of the unborn child while showing contempt for lost souls, the gospel, the Lord's church, and His glory. But neither of those two extremes is biblical and right. 1/21/2007. 59 minutes.
