People supporting abortion do so for many reasons, but they have no excuses. There is no excuse, especially in God's eyes, for supporting murder. "Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder" (Mat. 19:18). There is also no excuse for remaining silent as 4,000 helpless little human lives are snuffed out daily in America's modern-day death camps.
"If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; if thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?" Proverbs 24:11-12

The toleration of the bloodshed called abortion has clearly led to a coarser, more violent society just as the Word of God has warned that it would: "blood toucheth blood" (Hosea 4:2). God's judgment is already on America (Deut. 28) for many reasons, including the "legalized" murder of innocent unborn children. If you fear God, care about your country, and love your family, then find enough compassion in your heart to stand against abortion!

Just as there are many reasons for abortion, but no excuses for it in God's eyes, so it is with all sin. While some sins, like abortion, are more destructive on this earth and bring God's judgment directly on the nation where the sin is tolerated, any and every sin brings an eternal sentence of hell on the sinner. Hell, which the Bible describes as a place of torment (Mat. 25:46, Mark 9:43-48), is a perfect picture of God's perfect hatred of sin; and it is the eternal destination of all sinners (Ps. 9:17, Luke 12:5). God is perfect, and only perfect people will spend eternity with Him. Since "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23), there is no way for any human being to avoid hell. But God, who "is love" (1 John 4:8), has made a way. The Bible tells us He sent His only begotten Son to be "made in the likeness of men" (Phil. 2:7), live a perfect life (Heb. 5:9), and die as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all who would "repent . . . and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15).
The gospel is the good news that those who turn from sin to God, ask forgiveness for violating His law, and "call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom. 10:13). They will be saved once and saved for all time (Rom. 6:23). On judgment day, they will stand before God forgiven and made perfect because He has imputed to them the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ His Son. If you desire to be reconciled to God and experience the spiritual rebirth which is necessary to "see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3), ask Him to forgive you for every sin you have committed and put your complete trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. Then read your Bible and spend time in prayer every single day as you follow the One who saved you!
