richly blessed WCU's ministry at the "Gay Pride" rally and
parade in Madison this past Lord's Day. A number of us arrived on the
scene of the sodomite, capitol square rally about 1:15 PM. We set up our
banners and signs directly across the street from the milling crowd which
numbered four hundred when we got there and very soon swelled to about
800-1,000. (I know, a low turnout for them). Upon getting set up, we
immediately cranked up our truth horns to 10 and began preaching. The
rally started quite late, and we ended up preaching for what must have
been close to forty-five minutes straight before the rally - forty-five
minutes of law and gospel to hundreds of trapped sodomites! Though there
was much screaming and some attempts to intimidate us, there were also
long periods of near silence during our sermon. Even during the noisy
times, we could easily be heard and understood over the din.
When the parade started, a number of Christians led it with gospel
banners. In fact, one group of Christians led it for six blocks before the
police kicked them out. We preached at two different locations along the
parade route and gave out quite a few tracts. So many good things took
place, but I will wait until the next WCU newsletter to give a more
in-depth report. If you are not on receiving WCU's newsletters and would
like to, send your address to us.
By the way, during his speech at the rally, sodomite Rep. Mark
Pocan stated, "We consider Anton Scalia the Ralph Ovadal of the U.S.
Supreme Court." Perhaps something I said prior to or during Mark's
speech irritated him.
One telling moment in the parade came when a sodomite fixed his
eyes on a sign my daughter-in-law was holding and he, or perhaps the demon
in him, snarled, "You weren't there, I was!" The sign said,
"Remember Sodom."
Thanks to those who ministered with us, and thanks to those who
prayed for us.
