week it was announced that George Bush has named Scott Evertz as the
director of the White House Office of the National AIDS Policy. There are
no surprises here. I have known Scott Evertz on an adversarial basis for a
number of years. I have debated him on television and talked to him a
number of times in private. Scott Evertz long ago made up his mind that he
would exemplify a rising phenomenon-the "gay conservative." He
has charted a very careful course, even being willing to provoke the wrath
of his fellow sodomites in order to curry favor with the GOP and thus
advance his political career. For instance, when open lesbian Tammy
Baldwin first ran for Congress, Scott privately called me and asked if I
had any information on Tammy which could help the Republicans prevail over
her on election day.
"Quite frankly, Scott Evertz knows what he wants
and he knows how to get it, just like the President he will now serve
under. George W. Bush knows what he wants and he knows how to get it. He
wants the Christian vote so he talks about God and throws the Christian
electorate a few crumbs. He wants the pro-"GLBT" vote, or at
least wants to weaken that group's opposition; so he appoints an open
sodomite to a high position in his administration. During last year's
campaign season, Mr. Bush met with Evertz and several other Log Cabin Club
Republicans. Now Evertz has landed a plum job in the Bush Administration.
Simply put, George Bush asked the sodomites to scratch his back and now he
is scratching theirs.
"From a political perspective, Scott Evertz and
George Bush are soul mates. Unfortunately for both of their souls and the
soul of this nation, they have another thing in common as well. They are
both using the influence of their positions to desensitize a nation to a
lawless behavior which God calls a filthy, grievous abomination."
