Green County Health Department Yokes
with
Planned Parenthood of Monroe!
Pilgrims Covenant Church is in the process of mailing
this letter and document, along with a gospel tract, to 8,000 rural Green County homes and literature dropping another 2,000 homes in several towns.

Dear Green County Resident,

As the contents of this letter will explain, without your knowledge and consent, you have been entered into a partnership with a murderous, child-abusing organization. Enclosed with this letter you will find an "Inter-Agency Referral Agreement" between your tax-funded Green County Health Department and Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Inc. As is plain to see by reading the document, the Green County Health Department (GCHD) is now providing clients for and working intimately with Planned Parenthood which has a local office in Monroe.

Knowing the immoral, murderous nature of Planned Parenthood, this is of great concern to me as a pastor. It should be a great concern to every Green County resident who cares about young people and is opposed to the killing of unborn babies. Planned Parenthood of Monroe (PPM) is part of the Planned Parenthood system which nationwide murders more innocent human beings by abortion than does any other abortion provider. While PPM does not, at this time, perform surgical abortions on their premises, they send their pregnant "customers" to abortionists in the area, including Planned Parenthood's abortion clinics in Madison and Milwaukee.

PPM also dispenses sexual advice and birth control devices, including dangerous abortifacient chemicals, to minors without their parents' knowledge or permission. It is Planned Parenthood's stated policy that they will not share any information about their underage clients with the children's parents, even if asked by the parents! In fact, parents who simply ask if their child is a client of Planned Parenthood will not get an answer even to that question. Pilgrims Covenant Church has for years maintained a weekly ministry in front of Planned Parenthood of Monroe. We weekly see underage children, in one case an eleven-year-old boy, come out of PPM with birth control devices and sexually explicit literature.

Planned Parenthood has long been on the forefront of the "anything goes with anyone sexual revolution" which has damaged and destroyed the lives of so many young people. The nature of Planned Parenthood of Monroe's sexual advice to the vulnerable young people who visit them is perhaps best summed up by the homosexual rainbow symbol in the window of the front door of the Monroe "clinic." PP is an enthusiastic supporter of all manner of underage sexual activity, including homosexual activity. You might be interested in knowing that Planned Parenthood strongly supported the homosexual effort to defeat the recent marriage protection amendment (see www.fairwisconsin.com/endorsements/) which was recently overwhelmingly approved by Wisconsin citizens.

By counseling children and handing out birth control behind the backs of their parents, the adults who work at Planned Parenthood of Monroe are acting like proverbial dirty old men--or in this case, women--and are complicit in underage sex by children, per Planned Parenthood policy. Moreover, Planned Parenthood of Monroe has given evidence that they are willing to turn a blind eye even to statutory rape!

Included with this letter you will find the transcript of a recorded phone message between a Planned Parenthood of Monroe staff member and a representative of a nationally-known pro-life organization, a woman with a very girlish-sounding voice posing as an underage teen seeking an abortion. Pilgrims Covenant Church is in possession of that tape and is willing to make it available on request. As you read the phone transcript, please note the PPM staff worker's willingness to circumvent Wisconsin's parental consent law. And please also note that the PPM worker, Jolene, was willing and apparently eager to cover up the statutory rape of a thirteen-year-old girl by a twenty-two-year-old man!

Persons in the medical and health care field, including Planned Parenthood workers, are required by law to report such cases of statutory rape to law enforcement officials. But Planned Parenthood, including the PPM worker in this case, are more concerned with killing the unborn and bringing in condom and birth control clients than they are interested in the welfare of young people. Of course, that is because Planned Parenthood is both for profit (nationally, PP netted $63 million in fiscal year 2004-2005) and also tax-funded. PP depends on a steady flow of clients to justify a steady flow of tax dollars. Unfortunately, your Green County Health Department is currently helping to provide that flow of customers to Planned Parenthood.

With regard to covering up the statutory rape of minors, it is important to note that the actions taken by PPM's Jolene are consistent with Planned Parenthood's philosophy and mode of operation nationwide. At the close of this letter, I have included just a few headlines from many stories concerning investigations of Planned Parenthoods across the country by law enforcement agencies and through the judicial system.

I believe it is unconscionable that a tax-funded county department would partner with an organization which treats parents with contempt, is involved in the murder of the unborn as well as the corruption of young people, and is apparently willing to cover up statutory rape. Our county is blessed with an abundance of health care providers; there is no reason, let alone excuse, for Green County Health Department officials to work hand-in-hand with an evil, reckless, and controversial organization such as Planned Parenthood of Monroe. In doing so, they have violated the trust of those who pay their wages and fund their department activities--the taxpayers of this county. Through our taxes, the Green County Health Department has made all of us partners in the bloody, perverted work of Planned Parenthood of Monroe.

Sincerely,

Pastor Ralph Ovadal

Judge: State may see kids' medical files
Indianapolis Star, June 1, 2005--A Marion Superior Court judge on Monday rejected an effort by Planned Parenthood of Indiana to stop the state from seizing patient records from the organization's clinics. Judge Kenneth H. Johnson ruled that the state's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit was within the unit's authority when it sought records of clients younger than 14 in its investigation of a complaint that Planned Parenthood failed to report child abuse as required by state law. . . .

Cincinnati clinic told to release abortion files
Associated Press, June 23, 2006--The Cincinnati Planned Parenthood Clinic must give a family that is suing the clinic all records on abortion patients younger than 18, a judge ruled.

The documents are being sought in a lawsuit by the family of a teenage girl. The suit alleges that Planned Parenthood never got parental consent to perform an abortion on the girl, as required by Ohio law.

Clinic President Becki Brenner said the clinic will appeal Wednesday's ruling by Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Patrick Dinkelacker. . . .

The family's lawsuit alleges that the girl's 21-year-old boyfriend took her to the clinic and identified himself as her stepbrother, and the abortion was performed without notifying the girl's parents.

Judge finds Planned Parenthood 'negligent'
WorldNetDaily.com, December 27, 2002--Planned Parenthood was negligent in its failure to report a 13-year-old foster-care girl's abortion to Child Protective Services, a Phoenix judge ruled.

Pro-lifers tout the case as an example of the importance of parental consent laws, the Associated Press reported. A law enacted in 2000 requires girls under 18 in Arizona to get permission of a parent or guardian for an abortion unless they seek court approval.

The Phoenix case began in 1998 when the girl, whose name has been withheld by AP, had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic accompanied by her 23-year-old foster brother, with whom she was having a sexual relationship.

Court records show that Planned Parenthood did not notify authorities until the girl returned six months later for a second abortion. . . .

Court: Kline can investigate clinics
Associated Press, December 1, 2006--Attorney General Phill Kline can continue his investigation of two abortion clinics and refer potential criminal cases to county prosecutors or file charges himself before leaving office.

The Kansas Supreme Court refused Thursday to intervene on behalf of the two clinics in their dispute with Kline over patient records and his examination of their activities.

The clinics, operated by physician George Tiller in Wichita and by Planned Parenthood in Overland Park . . .

Kline has said he is investigating whether clinic doctors have performed illegal late-term abortions and violated a state law requiring them to report suspected child abuse. . . .

PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF MONROE (PPM)

TAPE 559

(dialing sounds) (ringing 1x)

PPM: Good morning. Planned Parenthood.

CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering do you guys do abortions there?

PPM: No, we don't.

CALLER: Oh, well, do you know of any place that does?

PPM: There's a place in Madison. There's a place in Rockford.

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: Neither one are Planned Parenthood. Did you want phone numbers? [Note: At the time of this call, neither was Planned Parenthood, but the Madison location has since become a Planned Parenthood clinic.]

CALLER: Yes, please.

PPM: Which one do you want, Madison or Rockford?

CALLER: Well, I'm not really sure which one. But do you know--like I'm just worried because like my friend told me that since like--well, I'll be 14 next month.

PPM: Oh.

CALLER: And she said that you guys would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend's 22. Is he old enough to take care of it and--

PPM: No.

CALLER: --they wouldn't have to tell anybody?

PPM: You want to go to Rockford then. Don't go to Madison.

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: Because in Wisconsin we've got parental consent where you'd have to tell your parents, but Rockford doesn't.

CALLER: Well, what's the number for Rockford then?

PPM: Yeah. Let me find it here for you. Here we go. [Note: We have edited out the number.]

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: Okay?

CALLER: Well, do you know if I could come there for a pregnancy test just to make sure?

PPM: You're better to go--

CALLER: It's just, I haven't had my period yet since like December 21st, and that's why I'm really worried.

PPM: Have you done a home test?

CALLER: No. I didn't know that those were right.

PPM: Sure. The same thing we use.

CALLER: Oh. Well, I would just rather come in there to have you guys do it. But would that be all right?

PPM: You can. There's a cost for it though.

CALLER: Oh. Well, my boyfriend said that he would pay for everything.

PPM: Okay.

CALLER: It's just, we were talking about all this, and we don't want anyone to know about us.

PPM: That's fine. Yeah.

CALLER: Would he have to sign anything though?

PPM: No.

CALLER: If he's paying for it?

PPM: No.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

PPM: No. You can just come in.

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: Don't come any later than 5:00.

CALLER: Oh, okay.

PPM: Okay?

CALLER: Well, if it ended up that I wasn't pregnant, could I get birth control there?

PPM: Yep.

CALLER: Really?

PPM: Yep.

CALLER: Well, would you have to tell anybody about that?

PPM: No. No.

CALLER: It's just--okay. We just don't want to have to worry about all this again. So.

PPM: Right. Right. As long as he's paying for it, that's fine.

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: All right?

CALLER: Well, I just have a lot of questions. I don't know if--

PPM: Sure.

CALLER: But if I think of something else, could I call and talk to you? What was your name?

PPM: My name's Jolene.

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: Yep. You can call and talk to me any time.

CALLER: Okay.

PPM: Okay?

CALLER: Thanks.

PPM: Yep. Bye bye.

CALLER: Bye.
