Since last spring,
homosexuals, led by the organization Fair Wisconsin, and their allies have
been crowing that Wisconsin would be the first state to defeat a marriage
protection amendment. But in spite of receiving boatloads of
cash from national sodomite groups; in spite of running an aggressive,
shameless campaign of confusion and deception; in spite of having the
support of most of the mainstream media; in spite of recruiting a rouge's
gallery of apostate clergy willing to spew blasphemy from the rooftops,
New Sodom has suffered a humiliating defeat.
Why
did the heirs of Sodom lose?
1) Fair Wisconsin et
al. treated the Lord as unholy, unclean, and lawless. "These
things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was
altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them
in order before thine eyes" (Psalm 50:21). Homosexual strategy
included juxtaposing Almighty God alongside their abominable cause which
His Word makes clear He hates. The Fair Wisconsin web site included
what can only be called exhortations, replete with Scriptures, which spoke
of the sodomite side as being Spirit-filled and their cause as being a
Holy Spirit birthed revival. Working against the amendment was said
to be living out one's Christian faith, standing firm in the faith, and
following Jesus. Those who fought against the amendment were walking
in the footsteps of the Apostles and heroes of the faith, such as Martin
Luther. Supporters were told that Jesus would work hard to get out
the vote against the marriage amendment. Fair Wisconsin virtually
dared the Lord to curse their cause.
2) A foundation was
laid for this victory long before it occurred. For many
years, PCC has been saturating the grassroots of Wisconsin with the
uncompromised truth about homosexuality and, for the past several
years, also the truth about the marriage amendment. Others,
especially in recent years, have also played an important part
in winning the hearts and minds of the people of Wisconsin. It is
sheer folly to take a defensive posture when contending for life, liberty,
and morality. Long years of uncompromised, offensive action are
what laid the groundwork and prepared the way for the passage of the
marriage amendment.
3) Arrogance and
overconfidence cost the sodomites dearly. Homosexual whining,
lying, and bullying—all of which reached a fever pitch in recent
months—have grown old with many Wisconsin citizens. They are no
longer buying the victim line; they do not appreciate being lied to; and
they have had it with being told they are sick criminals (homophobic)
simply because they believe some things are right and some things are
wrong.
4) The marriage
amendment was straightforward, well-written, and uncompromised. It
bans not only so-called same-sex marriage but also look-alike civil
unions. This is a repudiation of those who insisted that only a ban
on ss marriage could pass and that it was important not to ban civil
unions to ensure marriage itself would be protected.
How
will this defeat affect New Sodom?
Sodomite strategists spent
millions and tried every dirty trick in their playbook, but the people of
Wisconsin have sided against them. The people have shrugged off
the yoke of homosexual intimidation and shaming to hand New Sodom its
first major political defeat in Wisconsin in over twenty-five years. The
spell has been broken; the glass ceiling has been shattered; the people of
Wisconsin have been liberated. They have stood up against the
screaming midget that had them cowering in the corner, apologizing for
heart-felt emotions ranging from unease to disgust in reaction to
homosexual behavior. The vast majority of the people of Wisconsin who do
not approve of homosexuality now realize they are the majority. They
have awakened this morning feeling good about handing New Sodom a defeat,
and they don't really care if liberal talk show hosts and sodomite
strategists shrilly accuse them of being near relatives of Adolf Eichmann.
The sodomites must now feel
a bit like a lion tamer whose lion just decided not to be any longer intimidated
by a flimsy chair and a whip wielded by a weakling who is suddenly looking
less like a master and more like a lunch. And matters within the city
limits of New Sodom are bound to be a mess as well about now. From the
start of the effort to force homosexual "marriage" on America,
there have been many dissident voices within gaydom which condemned the
strategy. Many felt it was too soon for such an effort; others felt
it was the wrong place to spend so much time and money. Given the
emotional and spiritual makeup of the homosexual community in Wisconsin
and the massive defeat that community has suffered, it will now be torn
apart by recriminations, depression, and internal bitterness. The
homosexual juggernaut—or should we say panzer?—has been brought to a
stop, at least momentarily. The forces of morality and law have made
an Inchon landing. But it would be foolish, and dangerous, to sit on
the beachhead savoring this victory. There is no better time to press the
attack as when the enemy is confused and demoralized.
What
now?
The passage of the marriage
amendment should signal the beginning of more such offensive actions in
the legislature. Many people in Wisconsin are disgusted, even
furious, with the disgraceful, deceptive campaign tactics employed by the
sodomites. During our public witness on behalf of the amendment, even
many non-Christians expressed such emotions and opinions to us. The
heart of New Sodom has been revealed; the heart of the Lord's people has
been strengthened; the heartland of Wisconsin has spoken; and now the time
is ripe to launch a well-done campaign to repeal Wisconsin's hate crime
enhancement laws. Such laws are unconstitutional and nothing less
than the precursor to hate speech laws, which would criminalize dissent
from the homosexual party line, including preaching the biblical truth
about homosexuality and eventually preaching the gospel itself. In
closing, I urge state legislators who care about liberty and equal justice
under the law to introduce legislation to repeal Wisconsin's hate crime
statutes.
