WCU Returns
from Houston

Dear Friends,

Last week, we traveled to Houston to confront Danny Yu and his pack of state church wolves from China who are persecuting our Christian brothers and sisters in that country. We exposed Mr. Yu's propaganda event last year and the year before, but we had never physically appeared in front of it before. The event is the Symposium on Church Ministry in China which is put on by the Christian Leadership Exchange of which Mr. Yu is the president. God richly blessed our two-day witness (in the driving rain). We were able to expose and explain Danny Yu's charade to many gullible American Christians and had the opportunity to debate with and preach to a number of his friends, both Chinese and American. After our first day's witness, we were followed everywhere by Mr. Yu's security people; they were even spotted in our hotel parking lot both at night and in the early morning. We had cars swerve at us; and the second morning when we arrived at the symposium site, we found that someone had very thoughtfully spread large amounts of manure on the area where we had stood the day before. I guess that was sort of an editorial comment to show what the Red "Christians" think of us and the persecuted brethren on whose behalf we were speaking.

For those of you who have not yet seen it, I have included with this e-mail a flyer which we handed out at the symposium and a news release we sent out. The flyer was also sent to forty Houston area Chinese churches and to scores of Christian ministries involved with Danny Yu. Bob Fu has told us that the house church Christians in China will be greatly encouraged by WCU's confrontation and exposure of the Symposium on Church Ministry in China. Thanks for your prayers.
