"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature."
Romans 1:26
Wisconsin
Christians United is planning a series of events in response to the
National Gay Lesbian Task Force "Creating Change" conference
being held this week in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The following is a sample of
the seminars being held at the conference:
"Leather Caucus: Find out more about the sexual
freedom movement. There is exciting work being done in media advocacy,
law enforcement outreach, and legislative efforts dealing with
alternative sexual practices, particularly SM, fetishes and
cross-dressing. We will explore the discrimination against sexual
diversity in education and the arts; persecution in employment, housing
and child custody; and the violence that takes place against adults who
engage in alternative sexual practices. We will also discuss the ways
communities of all orientations can increasingly become active in
changing public and legal opinion about alternative forms of sexual
expression."
"Your Eyes Say Yes, But the Law Says No: What two
consenting people do in private should be legal, shouldn't it?
Surprisingly, consent is a minor consideration in the determination of
what sex acts are punished or approved by the laws regulating sexual
conduct. This workshop, using audience volunteers and role playing, will
analyze the laws regulating conduct such as queer sex, BDSM, rape,
intergenerational sex, marital and extra marital sex."
"Intergenerational sex" is a term used by the Man Boy Love
Association for sex with children. Other seminars and workshops include:
Drag 101: How To Turn Kids In Make-Up into Kings and
Queens
The Growing SM-Leather-Fetish Movement
Gender Queer Across Generations
Sex, Sexuality, and the Faith Community
Poly Wants More Than One Cracker: Polyamory in a
Culture Dependent on Coupledom
Selective Law Enforcement: Lewd Conduct and Gay Men
"Some time ago, Judge Robert Bork made the observation
that America is `slouching toward Gomorrah.' Quite frankly, this Creating
Change conference shows that America is now rushing headlong toward
Gomorrah; and leading that charge are the likes of U.S. Representative
Tammy Baldwin, an open lesbian who is speaking at the conference on Friday
morning at 10:45. If ever there was a time for Christians to stand up and
speak up for God's eternal, unchanging standards, it is now. WCU will be
doing just that on the sidewalk in front of the Creating Change
Conference."
