Wisconsin
Christians United has learned that a bondage discipline sadism masochism
"Play-Party" took place at the Best Western Inn Towne Hotel at
710 North 3rd Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the early morning hours of
Sunday, November 11. The information was obtained by a WCU contact who
attended the National Gay Lesbian Task Force convention this past weekend.
The party was promoted at the convention. WCU director Ralph Ovadal called
the Best Western Inn Towne Hotel on Saturday evening, November 10, and
asked a representative of the hotel if management knew about the BDSM
party which was about to take place and if it had the approval of the
management. She answered that management knew and that it was fine with
them. Pastor Ovadal then asked if the Best Western national management
knew about the party, and she said it was no problem with them either. The
following is the text of a full page flyer which was distributed at the
convention:

"The perverted, dangerous, and possibly unlawful
`Play-Party' which took place in a Best Western this past weekend was just
one of many perverse activities promoted by the NGLTF convention at which
Representative Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) was a keynote speaker and which was
attended by many young people. Through our contact who attended that
convention, we have obtained a real and shocking insight into the heart of
the homosexual culture as well as the real political and legal goals of
this New Sodom which has grown up in our midst. Working with other
pro-family groups, we will make this documentation public in the coming
months. In the meantime, I would encourage people to bring along some
bleach if they are going to stay at a Best Western Hotel."
