Report on Ministry at the
Capitol on Inauguration Day
“For we have found this man a pestilent

Yesterday, seventy to eighty Christians surrounded the
Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison. The event was Inauguration Day. The press
release tells what we did. What it does not tell, because it
went out before the start of our ministry, is that we were able to
personally confront and directly preach to a number of wicked civil
authorities including, but not limited to, the following:

Governor-elect James Doyle (a
persecutor of the brethren and a Planned Parenthood shill).
-
State Rep. Mark Pocan (an
exceedingly evil sodomite).
-
State Rep. Frank Boyle (an
exceedingly evil communist).
-
Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist.
(If it’s evil, he loves it.)
-
U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett (ditto).
-
Judge Paul Higginbotham (found
me guilty if a crime for preaching the gospel, now running for State
Supreme Court).
There are four doors to the very large capitol building;
so we divided up into four teams for yesterday’s ministry. We had
sign/banner holders, lit
distributors, and preachers at every door. We did have some media
coverage, including a very good report on the local Christian radio
station WNWC. When I was not preaching, I could often hear not only the
man in my team who was preaching but also preachers at the doors on either
side of me. It was a clear, crisp day and the acoustics were great!
Thousands upon thousands of people in the immediate area, including
government officials and their families attending the Inauguration Day
festivities, were confronted with the gospel of Jesus Christ along with a
solid, prophetic warning concerning God’s commands for government and
the wrath He has toward our nation. It was a profound, heart-changing day.
I am exceedingly grateful for those Christian soldiers who stood to their
posts for three hours in the cold in order to make a maximum impact for
our Lord’s kingdom and His righteousness. It will take such a
“pestilent” people to bring revival and reformation to our nation.
There is no doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ is
ringed about by powerful enemies rabidly committed to silencing and
destroying her. But do not make the mistake of thinking and acting as if
the enemies of God have won in this country at this time. So long as there
is one Christian willing to contend for God’s eternal truth, this fight
is not over. Yesterday, on a cold, winter weekday in Madison, Wisconsin,
eighty Christians contended for truth. This fight is far from over. May
the Lord richly bless those who love Him enough to publicly proclaim and
defend His Word.

An Open Letter to
Governor-Elect Jim Doyle
& the Wisconsin Legislators Taking Their
Oaths of Office Today, January 6, 2003
"Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed,
ye judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest
he be angry,
and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all they that put their trust in him."

Today,
you will swear or affirm to support the Constitution of the State of
Wisconsin and the U.S. Constitution. Many of you will mouth the words of
that oath with no regard for its meaning or your promise “so help me,
God.” It is important that you understand that you are accountable to
the One in Whose Name you have sworn or affirmed. By your oath, you are
obligated to introduce; support; and in the case of Governor Doyle, sign
only legislation which is in harmony with God’s eternal law as it
applies within the jurisdiction of civil government. By law, the federal
government and all states, including Wisconsin, are required to have a
Republican form of government. We are required, and therefore blessed, to
be a nation founded under law rather than the subjective opinions of men.
Like the federal government, all state governments, including
Wisconsin’s, are legally bound to uphold the precepts of our nation’s
charter, the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence
is in fact prefixed to Wisconsin’s Enabling Act and listed in the U.S.
Code Annotated under the heading “Organic Laws of the United States of
America.” The Declaration identifies “the Laws of Nature and of
Nature’s God” as the highest legal authority governing all mankind.
Our nation’s founders made it clear that America–every part of
her–was to be governed by those laws which they identified as God’s
dictated or natural law and His revealed law as found only in Holy
Scripture. Today when you take your oath to uphold the federal
Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin, you are
pledging to uphold the eternal, unchanging precepts they were written to
carry into practical application in civil government. With this firmly in
mind we call upon you to:
1) Move immediately to put a stop to preborn
child-killing in Wisconsin.
Abortion violates the revealed law of God per the Sixth
Commandment; therefore, you have the authority to uphold Wisconsin state
law which bans the murder of babies in their mothers’ wombs. The
Declaration of Independence states, “We hold these Truths to be
self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by
their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life,
Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness—That to secure these Rights,
Governments are instituted among Men.” The very purpose of government is
to protect life. Today we urge you to do your duty and stop the murder of
preborn Wisconsin citizens.
2) Defund Planned Parenthood.
It has been rightly said that the power to tax is the power to
destroy. Currently, the State of Wisconsin funds the special interest
group Planned Parenthood, an organization which murders preborn Wisconsin
citizens as well as perverts the minds and destroys the bodies of an
untold number of young people every year. Speaking of such use of tax
dollars, Thomas Jefferson truly stated, “To compel a man to furnish
contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he
disbelieves, is sinful and tyrannical.” To fund Planned Parenthood is to
violate your oath of office and to levy a sinful, tyrannical tax upon the
people of Wisconsin. We call upon you to put an end to government support
of Planned Parenthood.
3) Rescind Wisconsin laws which legitimize sexual
perversion and resist all attempts to legislatively advance the homosexual
agenda.
Homosexual acts, including sodomy, violate the Laws of Nature
and of Nature’s God. The government support and approval of such acts
will only bring God’s judgment upon our state. We call upon you to keep
your oath of office by working to repeal Wisconsin’s hate crime statutes
and the sexual orientation wording from all state statutes. For the same
reason, we urge you to resist all pro-homosexual initiatives and work to
recriminalize homosexual acts in Wisconsin. Anything less constitutes the
unlawful use of law (1 Timothy 1:8-11) and is an abomination in God’s
eyes. “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just,
even they both are abomination to the Lord” (Proverbs 17:15).
4) Understand that, as a civil ruler, you are called to
be “not a terror to good works, but to the evil” (Romans 13:3).
Today civil government is often used to persecute and silence
Christians while protecting pornographers; preborn child killers; sexual
outlaws; and in Wisconsin, even tax-funded nude sunbathers! Please
understand that God’s wrath and judgment will come upon you should you
deny and pervert the true, God-ordained purpose of your position. Please
read Psalm 2.
If you have not made a commitment to follow Christ and live
by the Word of God, we urge you to do so today.
You cannot beg, borrow, legislate, or confiscate salvation. You cannot
work for salvation; it is the free gift of God to those who truly repent
and sincerely place all their trust in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Only God can
extend forgiveness for sin and effect a spiritual rebirth in a person. He
has decreed that takes place when one repents and believes the gospel of
Jesus Christ. “. . . Repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark
1:15).
