Answering Sodom
Conference in San Diego
On Saturday, January 28, Pastor Ralph Ovadal gave a lengthy
seminar aimed toward equipping and training men to take a stand on the
street for God's kingdom and His righteousness. Pastor Ovadal also
preached Friday evening and three times on Sunday.

At the Friday session, fifty men committed to join
together and fight the good fight of faith against the sexual anarchists
and child-killers while spreading the gospel to those same enemies of the
kingdom of Christ. Men attending the conference took a large amount of WCU
literature and bought forty copies of Pastor Ovadal's book Answering
Sodom. Another twelve books were given out free to area pastors. One
pastor shared that his whole outlook on the homosexual issue had been
changed by Pastor Ovadal's book. As always, Pastor Ovadal accepted no
speaker's fee for his appearance in San Diego; and the proceeds from the
book went directly to ministry expenses. The newly formed San Diego
Christian Men United has already been out lit dropping information on
homosexuality and has also had a fifty-man strong picket at a local
Planned Parenthood. Praise the Lord that He has raised up this group along
with men to lead it into the battle! Pray that they grow in grace,
holiness, and strength as they attack the gates of hell and reach out to
the lost. Back to top.
Literature Distribution
Ongoing literature drops are taking place in Madison
with a wide-range of WCU literature. Also, literature is being distributed
in Kenosha; Bayfield; and Lena, Illinois by
several hard-working Christians. WCU literature has made its way into
Canada and will be passed out to students at several government schools in
Ontario and was also recently given to forty
members of the Saskatchewan legislature with
very good results. All WCU literature is given away free to those who
promise to distribute it. The hundreds of thousands of brochures which are
distributed each year are paid for by supporters of WCU's work.
During the time period covered by this update, lit
drops were undertaken in the following towns by regular volunteers led by
WCU missionary Mike Foht with the able assistance of a sacrificial brother
who must remain anonymous but who has done much for the cause of Christ: Black
Earth, Mt Horeb, New Glarus, Milton, Mazomanie, Sauk City, Monticello,
Baraboo, Arena, Spring Green, Madison, Prairie du Sac, Lodi, Elroy,
Hillsboro, and Appleton. Some of the towns listed were lit
dropped more than once, and some were also the site of a WCU prophetic
picket.
A number of the lit drops produced long telephone
discussions for Pastor Ralph Ovadal during which hearts were touched not
only with the truth about homosexuality but with the gospel as well. In
one case, an extremely angry, threatening man ended up apologizing and
indicating that he had experienced a major change of heart!
A picket and literature distribution at
Lodi High School touched off a raging controversy on homosexuality.
WCU picketers were threatened with physical violence by militant sodomite
students and insulted by teachers; but, at the same time, a large number
of other students took the various WCU brochures which were offered.
Several days after the event, the students of "Mr. Kohl's third-hour
history class" wrote a scathing rebuke to WCU; but miraculously, the
letter contained an offer for a WCU rep to come to the class and engage in
an exchange of ideas over homosexuality. Pastor Ralph Ovadal has written a
letter accepting the invitation but as of yet has received no confirmation
that the event will take place. Pray that it does, as no doubt the
homosexualists will put pressure on to make sure that it does not. Back

LaFallotte Mailing
Although many parents were unaware of it, LaFallotte
High School in Madison has a "Gay/Straight Alliance Club" for
students. Upon the request of a parent with children in LaFallotte, WCU
director Ralph Ovadal wrote a letter exposing the true agenda and true
associations behind the Gay/Straight Alliance Clubs, including the one in
LaFallotte. The letter, along with the WCU tract "Homosexuality: The
Truth" was sent to all 1,200 parents with children in LaFallotte
High. Reports are that the club has begun to wither since WCU's mailing.
The mailing sent the sodomites scurrying for cover and
meetings with LaFallotte School District officials. Several weeks after
the mailing, ABC's Madison affiliate interviewed Ralph Ovadal for the
evening news. The story featured three different comments from Pastor
Ovadal and one comment from Madison's largest "gay" group - a
man wearing make-up, a women's hairstyle and clothing! Praise the Lord! It
is not hard to imagine who came across as credible and trustworthy to the
parents watching. Back to top.
