"And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear,

Jude 22 & 23

Byczek Family Escapes Sodomite Dragnet

It appears that America's New Sodom will be cheated out of a victim they confidently believed was firmly in their hands! By the time that you read this, it is expected that all the injunction charges and the hate crime charges against Dary Byczek will have been dropped! Recently, WCU launched a campaign to expose the persecution of Mr. Byczek and his family by their four lesbian neighbors. As part of that campaign, WCU helped bring to light a conspiracy to frame Mr. Byczek with a variety of charges and initiated an e-mail, letter writing campaign to the Green County D.A. who was pursuing the assault on the Byczek family. The D.A., by his own admission, received a huge amount of heat from Christians around the nation and has now apparently seen the light. The Byczeks are extremely grateful that, thanks to the Body of Christ, they have been delivered out of a nightmare. If everything goes as expected, Mr. Byczek will be charged with disorderly conduct only and be spared the possibility of years in prison. May God bless those vigilant, active, brave Christians who have struck such a blow for justice and deprived the heirs of Sodom another trophy and a propaganda tool with which to further intimidate America into silence.

A footnote to the Byczek story: During a prophetic picket in a town near the Byczeks' rural property, a homosexualist physically attacked WCU missionary Mike Foht. The man has been charged by the Green County D.A. Back to top.

Mazo Beach Update

We have not yet filed the lawsuit against Mazo beach. Our attorney Jim Donohoo wants to be certain he puts together the best possible case. Pray that God will grant Mr. Donohoo wisdom and all of us success in this attempt to put an end to the tax-funded madness of Mazo. Should the lawsuit be unsuccessful, we will begin making plans to divide into little companies of about twenty to twenty-five Christian saints each so that we can man the beach parking lot every weekend that it is open next summer. With this strategy, no one will have to do "beach duty" more than twice during the summer; but the state will certainly burn up a lot of resources and the nudists will certainly hear a lot of truth. Because we have continued to pound on this issue, we are making headway in the battle of public opinion. The beach is no longer seen as a quaint anomaly on our state's landscape. For instance, a while back, the Beloit Daily News ran a scathing article attacking the beach titled, "Heads should roll." In the editorial, the writer lambasted state officials for allowing the nudists to have their way and stated such things as, "And it's time to shut down this embarrassment to Wisconsin and keep public land family-friendly. There can be no justification for official tolerance - let alone encouragement - of this kind of behavior."

Mazo beach became an issue in at least one election contest this year with Neal Kedzie, a Republican incumbent in the 43rd District, stating this about the beach, "All crimes have a victim. What about the family who cannot visit that public land, supported with their tax dollars because there are people walking about nude there? This is bigger than Mazo beach" (Wisconsin State Journal, November 6, 2000). Back to top.

100 x 6 Campaign

Sixteen individuals and families have committed to lit dropping in their area at least 100 of each of WCU's six brochures on homosexuality! The brochures deal with a wide range of issues relating to the homosexual issue, including the Bible, the Constitution, history, law, public policy, and the gospel. If you would like to shed some badly needed light and strike a blow for righteousness in your area by participating in our 100 x 6 Campaign, call WCU. We supply the literature free; you supply the courage and commitment. In addition to the 100 x 6 Campaign, persons working with WCU are continuing ongoing monthly lit drops in Appleton, Oshkosh, Chippewa Falls, and Wausau. Thank the Lord for those hard-working, far-sighted Christians who are willing to act and leave the results in the hands of God even as so much of the Church sits impotent in the path of the sodomite juggernaut! AIDS Walk

On October 1, approximately eighty Christians with WCU lined the route of this year's AIDS Walk in Milwaukee to preach the gospel and hand out tracts to the homosexuals and their friends who were the participants of the walk. In spite of a good deal of mocking and jeering, some from a Milwaukee police officer who dearly wanted to arrest at least one Christian, thousands of lost souls were confronted with the gospel truth. A blessed time in the Lord was had by all, and even the AIDS Walk celebrity host Jackie Joyner-Kersee had the gospel shared with her as she sat in a convertible at the end of the walk.

Wolf Hunt

On October 24, WCU staged a wolf hunt in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Our quarry was the pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Pastor Dean Kirst has publicly supported homosexual acts and has also spoken out in favor of Gay Straight Alliance clubs in the government schools. We literature dropped a large number of homes in Sun Prairie with a flyer which compared Pastor Kirst's position on homosexuality with the Bible's immutable truths. We also held a prophetic picket in front of the United Methodist Wisconsin Conference Center in Sun Prairie. Public response during the picket was overwhelmingly favorable. The only passer-by who even came close to offering any violent reaction was a neo-evangelical Christian who stopped to harangue us for being unloving! Pray for Pastor Kirst to repent and pray that the lost will be spared from the teachings of such wolves in sheep's clothing. Back to top.

Politics

During this last campaign season, WCU made a concerted effort to highlight Congresslesbian Tammy Baldwin's homosexuality and her support of "gay" advocacy programs for children. Unlike her first campaign for Congress, Baldwin won by a very thin margin this year. A check of election records have shown that Baldwin lost in a number of towns which WCU lit dropped with info about her. Last election, she won in those same towns! Perhaps this will be Tammy's last term to embarrass our state in Washington, D.C. The several weeks before election day, WCU also launched a campaign to inform voters in the 81st District that Republican Tim Russell is an open sodomite living with his "male lover" and that man's two daughters. We also brought great pressure to bear on Wisconsin Right to Life for endorsing Mr. Russell even though they knew him to be an open sodomite. Through our phone calls and literature dropping, many people who were supporting Russell due to WRTL's ungodly endorsement and the Republican Party's duplicity with Sodom decided not to vote for him. Mr. Russell ended up being crushed 20,281 to 9,680 on election day! Pray that WCU's action with regard to Mr. Russell and WRTL will stop a dangerous trend-the trend of supporting "conservative, pro-life" sodomites for office-before it goes any farther. Back to top.

Ongoing WCU Lit Drops and Prophetic Pickets

WCU "regulars" continue to lit drop and stage prophetic pickets on a weekly basis. Some of the towns which have been partially or completely lit dropped during the time covered by this newsletter include: Evansville, Deerfield, Belleville, Mt. Horeb, Richland Center, Sun Prairie, McFarland, DeForest, Pardeeville, Maple Bluff, Westby, and Waukesha. In the past several months, WCU literature was also distributed in San Diego, California; Mt. Miqul, California; and at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks to those of you who continue to fund the flood of truth! Back to top.

Miscellaneous

Mike Foht is in the process of appealing his recent conviction for preaching the gospel at the Gay Pride celebration in Milwaukee this past summer. Thank the Lord for courageous, tenacious men like Mike!

WCU is working to institute an alert network to inform Christians of the need to respond with prayer or action when tyranny rears its head against the Body of Christ. To be involved, send your name, e-mail address or fax number to WCU.

Individuals can now designate WCU as the ministry of their choice to support through the program in which Life Line gives ten percent of the participant's phone bill to a designated ministry. You can call Life Line at 1-800-800-7550.

Persons wanting to receive weekly tapes of Pastor Ovadal's sermons may do so by filling out the enclosed form and sending $6 monthly to WCU.

The back cover of Pastor Ovadal's book Answering Sodom presents Pastor Ovadal as producing and hosting a number of shows on the VCY America Network. Since that is no longer the case, WCU would like to clear out this batch of Answering Sodom. In pursuit of the goal, the price for those buying three or more copies of the book is just $5 per book. This is an important book to get into the hands of as many people as possible! All income from Answering Sodom goes directly to the work of WCU.

Reminder: WCU will be having a Truth Blitz in West Central Wisconsin on November 27 and 28. For details, call or e-mail WCU. Back to top.
