"Know ye not that the
unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither
fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of
themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor
revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such
were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are
justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our

The respected preachers and Bible teachers of the past did not mince words when speaking of
homosexuality. Below is a sampling of the descriptions used by just a few of those men of God, still highly respected, when preaching and writing about sodomites and the sin they celebrate. To keep this account brief, we have excerpted only a
representative sample of phrases and words. All material used has been taken from easy-to-obtain
Bible commentaries, sermons, and writings. It should be noted that the men
quoted also stressed that homosexuals too may be saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus if they will repent, put their trust in Him, and call upon the name of the Lord for salvation. The reader should also remember that the Lord used the men
quoted below in great ways, including as instruments of revival in some cases. These men, though lauded by
today's Christian leaders, if they lived today, would be vilified by many of those same leaders for their straightforward, graphic, biblical condemnation of a sin which so quickly destroys the body, reprobates the mind, condemns the
soul, endangers the innocent, and brings God's judgment upon a nation.
For
convenience sake, we have arranged this presentation in three columns. In the first
column, the reader will find the man; in the second column, some of his descriptions of homosexuals; and in the third, his
description of sodomy and other homosexual acts.
