Matter"
In the time we have left, here are a few
interesting news items from other countries.
This first item was reported on the BBC
this week. David Clutterbuck, a seventy-one-year-old Conservative
Bournemouth Borough councilor, is refusing to apologize for a joke he
circulated to other council members by e-mail; and what can we say but
good for him! Meanwhile, a Liberal Democrat councilor is pushing to have
Clutterbuck undergo diversity training. Maybe soon they will commit such
miscreants to camps with the slogan "Work is freedom" over the
gates.
The whole thing started when Councilor
Clutterbuck forwarded by e-mail a joke that if Noah tried to build an ark
now, he would have to overcome planning rules, building regulations,
environmental impact studies, fire and safety regulations, and the RSPCA
over animal welfare. Mr. Clutterbuck wrote, "I imagine now it would
be illegal to only have animals of the opposite sex!"
Speaking of the joke, Liberal Democrat
Councilor Michael Carlile sniffed to the BBC, "I urge, if we are
truly going to embrace diversity, all members should have compulsory
diversity training. I would urge those enlightened Conservative
councilors, and I know there are some, to challenge Councilor Clutterbuck
on his attitudes to minority communities."
In a related story out of England, the West
Yorkshire police force has sent out a press release in response to one of
their own, one PC Mark Carter, being crowned Mr. Gay UK at the Flamingo
Club in Blackpool over the weekend. The official police press release
calls the crown a "coveted title" and contains this comment from
sodomite Officer Carter: "I'm absolutely over the moon to have won. .
. . It will be good for other young gay men to see someone like me who has
been successful in a professional job like policing. . . . I'm just
delighted that I've won."
Police Superintendent Nigel Hibbert is
quoted in the press release this way: "It's a great achievement and
we are all proud of Mark. He's done very well and we are pleased that he
has won."
Sodomites will legally begin to donate
blood in South Africa on November 1. The Constitutional Court there has
decreed that it is "discriminatory" to ban sodomites from giving
blood, and so they will now be able to do so. And, with that court ruling,
the South African National Blood Service is suddenly saying that blood
from sodomites is safe. So, as is so often the case, sodomite ideology
triumphs over reality, not to mention safety. (source: www.iol.co.za)
