No
Cross. No Gospel. No Love.
2/19/2006—Today
the suffering of the sinner is the focus of many preachers rather than the
suffering of the Savior who died for the sinner! Elder Steve and his kind
preach their own love when they ought to be preaching the love of God.
Sinners must be shown the bloody, gory cross. The Lord's people must be
reminded of it often as well, lest we forget that Christ is the Church's
bloody bridegroom. 57 minutes.

London. Pastor Keenan shares his testimony—a testimony which attests the
importance of gospel witness—as well as tells about his church's
open-air evangelism in London. 30 minutes.
The
Folly of Sports Ministries
1/16/2006—On this special "Heart of the Matter" program,
Pastor Ralph Ovadal and his guest, Rev. Stephen Hamilton, expose the folly
of evangelizing through sports. They discuss such sports ministries as
Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sports Spectrum, and the Christian
Sports Minute. 41 minutes.
Interview
with a Former Greek Orthodox
11/28/2005—In this "Heart of the Matter" interview, Evangelos
Christodolou, a former Greek Orthodox, now a true Christian, gives insight
into the history and doctrine of the Orthodox religion. 31 minutes.
Evangelize
or Apologize? Part I
5/30/2004—These
days among Christians, it would almost seem to be axiomatic that for every
action there is an overreaction. Some of us are witnessing an upsurge in
public preaching and the promulgation of the gospel. But at the same time,
the conviction many Christians are feeling to 'preach the gospel to every
creature' is being threatened by a form of extremism. 73 minutes.
Evangelize
or Apologize? Part 2
6/6/2004—The claim is that the USA and
England are "post-Christian" nations; therefore it is next to
futile to simply preach law and grace to the teeming hordes of lost souls.
We are told that, in this "scientific age," we must instead use
the so-called Acts 17 evangelism method. This teaching denigrates the
working of the Holy Ghost and the power of the gospel as well as
discourages Christians from engaging in tract distribution, one-on-one
witnessing, and public preaching. It is also a misrepresentation of what
happened on Mars Hill. 73 minutes.
