"Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily,
therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil."

This is what they mean by "We just want our rights."
Report for March 20, 2004

This is Canada today, and it could be even worse tomorrow. This is your future, American Christians, if you do not begin to take a open stand against the lies of New Sodom.

My name is Stephen Boissoin. I am an ordained and licensed minister in the province of Alberta. I am the Director of the Cave Youth Outreach Centre's in Calgary, Alberta. The Cave is a Christian para-church organization that reaches out to hundreds of teens weekly through our two locations. Over the last decade I have devoted my life to reach spiritually lost young people with the Gospel message and to equip them with the tools they require to strive for their potential.
In 2002, I was informed that the Alberta P-Flag (Parents and Families of Lesbians & Gays) Faith Society had undertaken an initiative in Alberta schools to teach young people that homosexuality was "Normal, Necessary, Acceptable & Productive." Considering that I worked with numerous teenagers that were being misinformed by this initiative, I gracefully, though truthfully began to expose the destructive potential of this initiative to them and further inform them about sexuality in a biblically based manner. Little by little, I began to be persecuted by various social workers and teachers for my decision to do so. In the spring and summer of 2002, I informed the public through a letter to the editor about this tax funded pro-gay initiative and encouraged Christians to take serious what was being taught in the public school system. At that time, there wasn't a great deal that had been written about the pro-homosexual agenda in the newspapers.

The response to my letter to the editor was both praise-worthy and shocking. Christians came out of the woodwork from all walks of life and supported what I had written. However, there was also a flip side. A Human Rights Complaint was filed against me by a University of Calgary Professor and avid pro-homosexual Human Rights advocate.

I will be called before the Commission in the near future. If found guilty, I can face a heavy fine and if I do not pay the fine, incarceration. This hearing before the Alberta Human Rights Commission will set a precedent in Alberta, regardless of its outcome. Had Bill C-250 been implemented at that time, I may have been charged criminally. I instruct the youth that God places in my path no differently today. As a minister of the Gospel of Christ and fellow Christian, I ask for your support.

On Saturday, April 3rd, 2004 at 6pm, Senator Anne Cools from Ontario will speak at a fundraising dinner at Il Giardino Ristorante in Calgary. The funds raised from this event will be used towards my defense costs. Honourable Anne Cools will speak on the Marriage Reference and Bill C-250. Additional speakers will include attorney Gerald Chipeur of Chipeur Advocates and myself. This event will be highly informative to all concerned Christians and Christian leaders.

Tickets are $100.00 and can be purchased by calling Cathy at Chipeur Advocates at (403) 537-6742 or myself.

For further information, I can be reached at (403) 880-5810.

Sincerely,

Rev. Stephen Boissoin
