PFLAG Kills
Report for February 6,
2004
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG)
has launched an ambitious project to assess "a pervasive climate of
anti-gay hostility" in America's public school system. You know, it's
all that hostility which causes sodomite youth to indulge in "high
risk behavior" or "take their own lives." Once they have
manufactured the "facts" that they need, PFLAG will use them in
their ongoing campaign to bludgeon into submission all who do not
celebrate sodomy. The truth is, sodomy is the high risk behavior. It is
the reprobate adults who encourage confused children to commit it that in
turn cause those children to commit suicide. We Christians tell young
people who have committed sexual immorality that Christ died to set them
free from sin, Satan, and hell. We tell them that "'though your sins
be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow' (Isaiah 1:18) if you will
repent, believe the gospel (Mark 1:15), and call upon the name of the Lord
for salvation (Romans 10:9-13)." We offer hope, life, and peace with
God.
The old God-haters like PFLAG tell the children who are convicted by God's
law written on their hearts (Romans 2:15), "Get over the guilt, kid.
Embrace sodomy; embrace the acts of which you are ashamed. It's how you
are. You were born this way. God created you this way. There is no
escaping who you are."
PFLAG offers young people nothing but confusion and despair. PFLAG kills
children. PFLAG should be held in contempt by every Christian who grieves
for a lost generation of young people who were born into a modern-day
Sodom.
The following was excerpted from a letter circulated among PFLAG members:
. . . PFLAG announces the launch on January 28th, 2004 of its National
Schools Assessment - a project funded by a grant from the Arcus Foundation
of Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Assessment is being administered by Jason
Zack, Ph.D. of the University of Miami, Department of Education and
Psychological Services, and Roy Gilbert-Higginson, Ph.D., of PFLAG's Field
and Policy Department. Through this confidential and anonymous survey,
PFLAG hopes to collect data from every corner of every state of the Nation
about the kinds of policies and practices that are, and are not, in place
to address a pervasive climate of anti-gay hostility in our schools. . . .
There is an appalling lack of support extended to LGBT youth in our
educational system. Available research indicates many Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) youth, and even some of their heterosexual
peers, drop out of high school, engage in high risk behaviors, or take
their own lives after being subjected to high levels of anti-LGBT
discrimination and harassment from their peers, and often their teachers.
. . .
PFLAG's Assessment is uniquely designed to systematically measure what
policies and practices schools and school districts are implementing and
enforcing to protect all students from the corrosive impact of anti-LGBT
hostility. The end product will be a picture of how our national education
system acknowledges the reality of this problem, and what specific steps
are being taken to provide a safe environment for all students, and
particularly LGBT youth, so that all may obtain the best benefit from
their education. . . .
